Delivery Policy
Our standard delivery typically takes 5 to 7 days, though this duration may extend depending on the location and courier services.
Return & Exchange Policy
RedTape offers an easy return/exchange policy. You can raise a request within 7 days of delivery if the product fails to meet your expectations.
- Product should be returned in the same condition as received, with original packaging, invoice, and tags.
- Partial returns are accepted; you can request return for one or all products in your order.
- For wrong, empty, used, or incomplete products, a complete unboxing video is mandatory for claim validation.
- Claims submitted without the unboxing video will not be eligible.
- Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable for customer returns. Only the product value will be refunded.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable for hygiene and safety reasons:
- Hankies
- Socks
- Perfumes
- Combo gift box
- UG/Boxers
How to Raise a Return/Exchange
Registered customers:
Login → Order History → Select Order → Item → Click "Return" → Fill required fields → Choose "Replacement / Refund".
Guest customers:
Contact our customer support team via email at customercare@redtapeindia.com.
Once your request is accepted, we will pick up the item(s) from your location wherever feasible. Refund or replacement will be initiated only after we receive the product.
Replacement: Subject to stock availability. If unavailable, the amount will be refunded.

Product Claim Policy
Footwear:
Following policy & systems need to be followed for any claims received from our Valuable Customers of our Footwear range:
a) 100% claim to be given in the following circumstances ONLY: Manufacturing defect in the product within 1 month of purchase with the copy of the bill.
b) Product older than under 45 days has to be sent to Corporate / Regional office with properly filled form& Original copy of bill after ensuring that the defect claimed is geniune i.e no external defect has been caused intentionally or un-intentionally especially by Rough usage, Dog bites, Silencer burns, Usage of Razor / Blunt object etc.
c) An approvals will be provided by the concerned Head based on the genuineness, usage & if unrepairable and may vary from 50 to 100% of the product price.
d) All approvals will be provided through mail and accordingly Claim & STO will have to be made.
e) No Claims will be entertained under any circumstances of product more than 45 days older.
f) Replacement requests will be processed subject to stock availability. In case the product is out of stock, a Gift Card of equivalent value will be issued, based on the previous purchase. The Gift Card will be valid for one month.
g) Refunds are not provided for purchases made through third-party platforms or for used products. The issued Gift Card will be valid only on the Red Tape official website and cannot be redeemed in physical stores or on external platforms such as Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
Apparel:
Following policy & systems need to be followed for any claims received form our valuable Costumers of our Garments range:
a) 100% claim to be given in the following circumstances ONLY: Manufacturing defect (like Shrinkage, Colour fastness & other geniune manufacturing defect) in the product within 30 days from the date of purchase.
b) All the product has to be dispatched with properly filled form& Original copy of billafter ensuring that the defect is genuine & proper instructions of Washing & Ironing have been followed.
c) All the claim approval will be provided only by the concerned Regional Head in collusion with the garments team based in crop office within 7 days.
d) All the approvals will be provided through mail and accordingly Claim & STO will have to be made. On approvals any merchandise can be taken against the claimed product by the customer.
e) Replacement requests will be processed subject to stock availability. In case the product is out of stock, a Gift Card of equivalent value will be issued, based on the previous purchase. The Gift Card will be valid for one month.
f) Refunds are not provided for purchases made through third-party platforms or for used products. The issued Gift Card will be valid only on the Red Tape official website and cannot be redeemed in physical stores or on external platforms such as Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
Note: If the customer is unable to produce the bill, the decision of the Regional Head will be final & binding.
